It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Katie Robbins on Monday, June 18, 2018.

Just about everyone in the Classic Car Club of America knew Katie Robbins. If you are a new member of the museum or the club or you have been with us for years, you have seen her at car events and her name is on countless publications. She seemed to be handling some task at every significant activity that we sponsor.

The 2018 Experience

Each year during the first weekend in June, The Classic Car Club of America Museum hosts The Experience on the grounds of the Gilmore Car Museum. Many Full Classics® are displayed along with automobiles of a specific marque from the history of fine automobile manufacturing. Since the first event in 1987, The Experience has drawn thousands of visitors annually to Hickory Corners, Michigan, where visitors are also able to view over 300 fine automobiles on display on the 90-acre Gilmore Car Museum campus. CCCA Museum's 1939 Delahaye Takes First at Dearborn Grand Classic, Primary Division

This 1939 Delahaye was generously donated to the CCCA Museum by Robert Atwell, Jr in 1985 and had been displayed in the Museum until 2015 when after extensive research, it was discovered that the car was not bodied by Chapron as tagged, but by Tuscher of Switzerland making it a very rare car. More...
